We are currently seeking a dedicated full-time Electronic Equipment Trades Worker. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional looking to apply their trade in an innovative and dynamic environment, where hard work is recognized and rewarded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and repair of electronic systems on audio devices and instruments.
- Troubleshooting and repair of electronic controls on instruments and audio devices.
- General maintenance of instruments, including reassembling, testing, and adjusting equipment.
- Program and troubleshoot electronic modules, ensuring smooth operations. Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and calibration of equipment and control systems.
- Diagnosing and testing machine and system faults and recommending improvements to simplify assembly and maintenance.
- Recording failure data into a computerized tracking system and generating reports.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient workflow.
- Support the development and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provide guidance on proper operating procedures to prevent malfunctions.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Relevant qualifications in Electronics or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new knowledge and techniques.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Effective communication and people management skills. A solid understanding of Occupational Health and Safety principles and legislation.
